1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tendara website at https://tendarabac.biz and your participation in workshops and sessions offered by Tendara, a business registered in Sarawak, Malaysia, operating from 22 Jalan Padungan, 93100 Kuching, Sarawak.
By accessing this website or booking a workshop, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or register for any of our sessions.
These terms are written in plain language. If any part is unclear, please contact us at [email protected] before proceeding.
2. Scope of Services
Tendara offers educational workshops and working sessions focused on family communication skills and household document organisation. Our three programmes are:
- Family Conversation Workshop (RM 510) — A half-day small-group session covering communication frames for household discussions. Participants receive a printed prompt deck and a one-page agenda template.
- Shared Records Session (RM 1,250) — A full-day working session in which households build a printed reference of where their records and contacts are held. Participants receive a working draft binder and a labelled cover sheet.
- Family Records Programme (RM 4,400) — A multi-session programme paced over several weeks covering household record inventory, labelling, scanning checklists, meeting agenda templates, and a final printed handbook.
All services are strictly educational and administrative in nature. Tendara does not offer:
- Legal advice, legal opinions, or document drafting of a legal nature
- Financial planning, investment guidance, or asset management advice
- Counselling, family mediation, or related professional services
- Tax advice or any regulated professional services
Participants with specific legal, financial, or professional needs are encouraged to consult appropriately qualified practitioners separately.
3. Bookings and Payment
3.1 Making a Booking
Bookings are accepted by completing the enquiry form on this website or by contacting us directly at [email protected] or by telephone at +60 82 438 9162. A booking is confirmed only once you have received written confirmation from Tendara and payment has been received in full or a payment arrangement has been agreed in writing.
3.2 Payment Terms
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are payable before the commencement of a session unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices displayed on this website are correct at the time of publication and may be updated from time to time without prior notice.
3.3 Group Bookings
Workshop sessions are designed for households or small family groups. Where a booking involves multiple participants from the same household, this should be noted at the time of enquiry. Tendara reserves the right to adjust session arrangements where group size significantly exceeds the originally agreed number.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1 Participant Cancellations
- Cancellations received more than 14 days before a scheduled session will be refunded in full, less a RM 50 administrative handling charge.
- Cancellations received between 7 and 14 days before the session will be eligible for a 50% refund or a full credit note valid for 12 months.
- Cancellations received fewer than 7 days before the session are non-refundable. A credit note may be issued at Tendara's discretion.
4.2 Rescheduling Requests
Participants may request to reschedule a booking at no additional charge, provided the request is made at least 7 days before the original session date and an alternative date is available. Rescheduling requests with fewer than 7 days' notice are at Tendara's discretion and may incur a rescheduling fee.
4.3 Tendara Cancellations
In the event that Tendara must cancel or postpone a session due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, participants will be offered a full rescheduling or a full refund of amounts paid. Tendara's liability in such cases is limited to the refund of fees paid.
5. Participant Conduct
Tendara's sessions are intended to be calm, productive working environments. Participants are asked to:
- Arrive on time and remain for the duration of the session
- Treat facilitators and other participants with courtesy and respect
- Refrain from recording sessions without the written consent of all present
- Bring any documents or materials advised in the pre-session notes
Tendara reserves the right to ask a participant to leave a session if their conduct disrupts the session or affects other participants. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials provided to participants — including printed prompt decks, agenda templates, binder covers, scanning checklists, and handbooks — are prepared by Tendara for the personal use of the receiving household. These materials may not be reproduced, shared commercially, or distributed to third parties without Tendara's written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability
Tendara's services are educational and administrative. We do not hold ourselves responsible for decisions made by participants following a session, including decisions about household arrangements, record organisation approaches, or communication practices. Participants remain responsible for their own choices and for seeking specialist professional advice where relevant.
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Tendara's total liability to any participant for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by that participant for the session in question.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
